Happy #worldwildlifeday. This year's #worldwildlif Happy #worldwildlifeday. This year's #worldwildlifeday is celebrated under the theme "Forest and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet".
"Indigenous people and local communities are at the forefront of the symbiotic relationship between humans and forest [...] and the ecosystem services they provide." (Wildelifeday.org)
Finding sustainable ways to use natural resources and mitigating the effects we have on wildlife is a subject very close to our hearts. Only if we can protect nature, it's inhabitants AND ensure safe and viable livelihoods for people, can we ensure a future for our precious and unique wildlife.

#worldpangolinday The world has been battling Covi #worldpangolinday
The world has been battling Covid-19 for over a year. Endangered species, such as rhinos, make it into public news less than ever before. The danger that threatens them is by no means less than it was a year ago - in fact the threat has increased. Although we continue to observe the worrying developments which often affect our rhinos directly every day, today’s focus is pangolins, to encourage you to pause for a moment and take a closer look at another very threatened species. The world's most illegally trafficked animal.
If you want to learn more about pangolins and find out how you can help to secure a future for these incredible animals, you can check out the IUCN SSC Pangolin Specialist Group's website (@pangolinsg ) or visit @africanpangolinconservation ...
